Missouri's entries for the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition

The Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge coordinated the judging of Missouri's 2003 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition entries. Friends of Big Muddy helped with sorting the entries and getting them ready to be judged. After all the judging was over, Adam Nisbett won Missouri's Best of Show for 2003 (and in the top ten nationally), and has achieved other awards in previous years.

The Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge will again be coordinating the judging of Missouri's Federal Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition entries for 2004. More information about Missouri's competition is available from Tim Haller at 1-800-611-1826 or via e-mail at tim_haller@fws.gov. The deadline for entries is March 15, 2004.

The awards for the competition will be presented during Columbia's Art in the Park Festival on the afternoon of June 5th. Contact us for more information.

Friends of Big Muddy will once again be assisting the refuge with organizing the entries and getting them ready to be judged in 2004. This is a great way to get to see the entries! If you would like to help with this, most of the work will be done during office hours weekdays during March, 2004. Work will be opening packages, sorting entries by school, and making sure all paperwork is complete. Contact us to volunteer to help.
